On April 8, Governor Whitmer signed Executive Order 2020-41 (full text available here) temporarily suspending strict compliance with Michigan Law on Notarial Acts, 2003 PA 238, as amended, MCL 55.261 et seq. As a result, electronic signatures & remote electronic notarization are fully enforceable & valid through May 6, 2020.
